Michèle Heurs

Michèle Heurs leads the quantum control group at the Institute for Gravitational Physics (Universität Hannover and AEI). She took up her position as junior professor in July 2010 within QUEST (Centre for Quantum Engineering and Space-Time Research). The group works on the stabilisation of complex systems by means of traditional, modern and coherent control.

Research interests

• Controls (traditional, modern, coherent)
• Non-classical light sources at high frequencies
• Laser interferometry & quantum optics
• Detection of gravitational waves
