Research interests

I'm working on an atom interferometer based on laser-cooled Rubidium atoms for precision inertial sensing. Applications are for instance Satellite navigation or Earth monitoring (Rotation, tectonic movement). To explore the potential of atom interferometry, noise sources have to be characterized and key elements of the interferometer have to be optimized in order to increase the sensitivity of the sensor.
