Various research groups from the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) at Potsdam and Hannover (Germany), the Leibniz Universität of Hannover and the Laser Zentrum Hannover participate in our IMPRS. The education covers the complete scope of the field from classical interferometry on the ground and in space to advanced and quantum control, from source modelling and perturbative studies and data analysis, providing a broad and interdisciplinary education background required in present-day gravitational wave astronomy.

To think about your possible research project, it helps to see the list of reserach projects carried out by our PhD students.
