PhD representatives at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics
On 17 October 2016, all PhD students on the Max Planck Instiute for Gravitational Physics in Hannover were invited for the elections for the internal PhD Student representative. In this election, Lars Nieder and Daniel Penkert have been elected as official PhD student representatives. Their responsibilities cover the general interests of PhD Students.
The main task of the internal PhD representatives is to function as contact persons for all internal and external concerns of the students.
They provide a platform for an exchange among the students and organize regular PhD meetings, such as social events.
The PhD representative at the Max Planck Instiute for Gravitational Physics in Hannover attends the yearly PhD meetings of the Max Planck Society to get informed and to inform the other PhD students about relevant developments that take place within the Society.
